One of my favourite memories of Jim is when he and Carol came North and spent time at my parents’ place. It was evident that Jim loved being outdoors (in spite of the blackflies and mosquitoes!); he did his best to spend every waking moment outside.
I can clearly picture Jim sitting on the boat with my dad, chatting about anything and everything, neither of them putting up with the other’s…. um… crap, LOL. Dad considered Jim his friend - just like we all did.
And he was a good friend, at that. Jim was funny, kind, quiet and compassionate. He always made me feel like he was on my side, whatever the issue was. I’ll miss that - and his quick sense of humour - most of all.
Like all of you who knew Jim, I am struggling to imagine a world without him. We are certainly the poorer for it.
Always loved, forever missed. ♥️
