To Gwen's family,
My heart is broken today, as I just found out that Gwen has passed...it's her birthday today, and I tried to call her, only to hear the number was no longer in service. I feared the worst, and I was right. Gwen and our family didn't have an extremely close relationship, but we touched base from time to time to keep in touch and I always enjoyed the wonderful conversations we shared. I became acquainted with Gwen when she was helping my then aunt, Donna Mae (Silverthorn) Clark through her final journey with breast cancer. Gwen had her hands full at the time with her ailing husband Ken, and I took up the banner that ended up with Donna Mae finally passing away peacefully at home. Gwen was always there to give her invaluable advice and much needed support. I will miss her greatly, as I'm sure you all will too. Sincerest condolences from my husband Gordon Clark and myself. Gwen was a one in a million person...
