Obituary of Al Leslie
After a brief and courageous battle, guided by the love of his family, Al Leslie passed away on March 17, 2021, at the age of 59.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 27 plus years, Jill Bedard, his sisters Kathy and Wendy Leslie, his nieces and nephews Aleshia (Darcy) Drennan, Samantha (Mario), Noel and Joshua Charette, and his great-nieces and nephews Lincoln, Landon, Dean, Jay, Sydney and Elijah. He is also survived by Uncle Bill Smith, and Aunts Donna and Carol Lee Smith. He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Sandra Leslie, and Uncle John Smith.
Al was a kind, compassionate and private man, who very much lived his life by the golden rule. He was excited to be reunited with his Mom in heaven. He will be deeply missed.
Al’s family wish to extend a heartfelt thanks to the amazing Doctors, Nurses and staff of the Palliative care team from LIHN (Local Health Integration Network) at Victoria hospital, for the exceptional care they provided him.
Those who wish to make a memorial donation in Al’s name are asked to consider the London Coffee House, currently at 566 Dundas St., in the spirit of his selfless nature.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private celebration of his life will be held.
