Obituary of Laverne Henderson

Suddenly, at home, on Tuesday January 31, 2006. Laverne Henderson (nee Hull) in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of George, for over 60 years. “Extraordinary Mother” of Dayle Gould of Dorchester, Wayne (Anne) Henderson of Melbourne, Kim Parsons (Stephen Herr) of London & Kris Henderson of Dartmouth, N.S. Cherished grandmother of Christy (Brad) Hammond, Aaron (Stacy) Gould, Karen (Chris) Albrechtas, Kathleen (Jeff) Johnstone, Adam Henderson, Desiree Parsons, Ian (Brenda-Lee) Brown & Jenna Brown. Loved by 5 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Judi (Jim) Ridel of Ohio. Predeceased by 1 brother Junior Hull. Laverne was the only hairstylist in Dutton for a number of years & she later retired from Shoppers (Big V) on Hamilton Road. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton) on Friday from 7-9 pm & Saturday from 1-2 pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Evans Chapel on Saturday February 4, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Arthur Hiley of Byron United Covenant Church officiating. Interment at a later date in Fairview Cemetery, Dutton.
