Obituary of Verna Zubyk

Suddenly, at University Campus, London Health Sciences Centre, on Sunday, January 14, 2007. Verna Zubyk (Kalinovich), of London, in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Andrew (1972). Beloved mother of Bill, John (Judy), George (Joan), Jim (Terry) and Esther (Brian) MacLean. Loved by her 9 grandchildren; Karen, Brad, Peter, Susan, Brent, Dain, Christine, Stephanie and Sam. As well as 7 great-grandchildren; Courtney, Lauren, Erin, Isabelle, Cedar, Kaiya and Nikolas. Survived by brother Murray (Mary) Kalinovich and sister Ella Kotlarchuk. Verna is predeceased by 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Visitation for Mrs. Zubyk will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton) , Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Zenowy Didukh, of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of Christ the King, officiating. Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Donations to Juvenile Diabetes or the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, London Chapter, would be appreciated by the family.
