Obituary of Robert "Bob" Alexander Koebel

February 6, 1949-April 14, 2022 The family of Bob Koebel is heartbroken to announce his sudden passing at home on Thursday, April 14, 2022 in his 74th year. Beloved husband and best friend to Mary Koebel (née Lawson). Father to Rob Koebel and Carrie Koebel (Ed Stunda). Grandfather to Hailey Koebel, Noah, Hannah, Sophie and Ben Stunda. Loved son in law of Betty Lawson. He is survived by his brother Gerry and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Gerard and Irene, his sisters Corrine, Geraldine and Pat. Bob loved his family and home. In his retirement he was out in his yard as soon as weather permitted, cleaning and visiting with all his neighbours. Visitation will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Logan Chapel on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Interment of ashes will take place in Dorchester Union Cemetery, Dorchester, Ontario at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations to a charity of choice in memory of Bob.
