Dear Stephen,Dawn,Katie and your families: We will all miss your Dad. He was larger than life with his big laugh and beautiful singing voice. Many a service, concert, program and sing song were enhanced by his love of singing.I was fortunate to be his accompanist a few times. He loved the gospel, Lorna and his family. We have been acquainted with both of your parents since we joined the church in the early 1970s.They were hardworking, sincere, loyal, humble, humorous and good friends to many. They will both be missed, but they laid a solid foundation for gospel centered lives and music for us to remember and emulate. Les and Faye Smith

Hello Stephen, This your cousin Kay. I am so very sorry and quite upset to see that both Lorna and Charlie have passed away. Mum has been concerned that she hasn't been able to contact your mum for ages, so I decided to do a Google search. I do hope you don't take offence at this unorthodox way of contacting you, but I would be very happy if you would contact me. Hoping that you are well and also hoping to hear from you. I don't intend to tell my mum about this news just yet. With love Kay
