Obituary of Christina "Nella" LaVacca
Peacefully, with family by her side at the Village of Glendale Crossing on Thursday, August 12, 2021, Christina "Nella" LaVacca passed away at the age of 85.
Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Flaminio LaVacca (2014). Loving mother of Anthony LaVacca and Robert (Lisa) LaVacca. Greatly missed by her granddaughter and love of her life Emily LaVacca. Sister of the late Tony Nicotera and his wife Marilyn and Dan Nicotera and his wife Shelly. Dear sister in law of Nicky & Ralph Battaglini and Linda & Donato Ciccarella. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters in law Orlando LaVacca, Rosetta & Antonia Batticuore, Christina & Alex Ripak and Imperia & Mose Vendramin. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Nella will be fondly remembered for her loving nature and kind spirit who always put her family first.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and caregivers at the Village of Glendale Crossing for all their care and support.
A private funeral service will take place.
Entombment in St. Peter's Cemetery & Holy Family Mausoleum, London, Ontario.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of choice in memory of Nella.
