Obituary of Donald M. Wong

Peacefully, surrounded by his wife of 56 years Lillian and his four daughters, Donald M. Wong, in his 87th year, passed away on Monday, May 10th, 2021. He will be sadly missed by Lillian, Wendy (Peter), Bethe (Brett), Winnie (Jim) and Laurie (Jason). Admired and cherished Gong Gong to his 8 grandchildren, Braydon, Alia, Gabrielle, Emily, Nicole, Jarett, Jack and Cameron. Donald arrived in Canada in his early 20's from China. He had a thirst for knowledge and enjoyed traveling and experiencing life with his family. His cooking and his delicious dishes was what he was known for. His greatest passion was family time, any time we could get together was time he cherished. He helped raise his 8 grandchildren and was always their biggest supporters in everything they were involved with. The annual family cottage trip is one he looked forward to because all 18 family members were under one roof. His unique artistic calligraphy was used around London businesses for many years which he practiced well into his eighties. "For now father we say good bye but our memories and your value will be with us forever " Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held on Monday May 17th 2021 at Logan Funeral Home, 519-433-6181. Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
