Obituary of Eleanor Slade
Peacefully at Richmond Woods Retirement Residence on Saturday, May 1, 2021 in her 94th year. Devoted wife for 63 years of the late Kenneth Walter Slade (2015). Predeceased by parents Gertrude and Robert Gilbert, brother Jim, sisters Betty and Fran, and son-in-law Steve. Survived by brother Bert. Loving mother of Douglas (Suzanne), Margaret Greenside, and Diane Benway (Glenn Wyatt). Dearly loved grandmother of Heather, Brad, Kelly (Jason), Kyle (Katie), Jennifer (Mike), Brian (Julia), Angela (Jeff) and Brian. Great grandmother to Cohen, Olivia and Cole. Eleanor was a faithful and lifetime member of All Saints’ Anglican Church in London.
She will be fondly remembered for her remarkable lemon squares, her thousands of hand sewn Christmas stockings, her ability and willingness to play the piano and organ when called upon, and was a key member of the Anglican Church Women (A.C.W.).

A private family burial has taken place at Woodland Cemetery, London, ON. Arrangements entrusted to LOGAN FUNERAL HOME, 519-433-6181.
