Obituary of Howard Henry Gerth

Born on May 13, 1923 in Waterloo, Ontario, Howard Gerth passed away peacefully on Friday April 30, 2021 at Parkwood Institute, Veterans Care Program in London, Ontario. Howard was predeceased by his wife Phyllis and is survived by his daughter Brenda (Ron) of Victoria, B.C. Howard worked as a welder at General Steel Wares for many years and was an Army Veteran of WWII. He enjoyed bowling and horseshoes and was an excellent dancer and cribbage player. He loved camping and fishing and his dear cats Minnie and Baby. Howard would tinker and fix things and was always happy to help people whenever he could. Thank you to the respectful and caring staff at Veterans Care who greatly enhanced Howard’s quality of life. Their efforts were much appreciated.
