Obituary of Murray A. White

It is profound sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Murray A. White passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London, ON on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. He leaves behind his wife Elizabeth (Dewar), son James (Patricia) and daughter Susan Wood-Bohm (Mike), nine grandchildren and five great grand-babies. He was pre-deceased by his parents Archie and Hildred White, sister Jean McEwan, son-in-law Charles Wood and brother-in-law Ken Pasmore. He is survived by brother-in-law Robert McEwan and the clan who welcomed him to the family: Margaret Dewar, Catharine Pasmore, James Dewar (Beverly) and Robert Dewar (Marion). Murray will be remembered for his many years of dedicated service to the London Board of Education, but he most enjoyed his family, outdoor activities and wood-working. He was an active member of St. George’s Presbyterian church. His life was honoured at a private graveside service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, with Rev. K. McKee officiating. We will miss Murray very much. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to St. George’s Presbyterian Church in London, or to the London Health Sciences Center.
