Dennis, Jane, Marianne and families: We are so very sorry to hear of Helen's passing. She was such a loving & funny next door neighbour for so many years on Barker Street and a very good friend to my Mom, Joan. She took the neighbourhood kids on many a trip to the 'Black Woods' and we performed in quite a few 'talent? shows' in her backyard. I can still see her skating/polishing her hardwood floors. Sending love and hugs to you all. Donna & Bob

I came across Helens obituary in the London Free Press. I am so sorry for your loss. I worked at Country Terrace in the activation department for 6 years. Helen was one of my favourites. I remember when I first met her, she would ALWAYS have her makeup done, jewellery on and nice clothes on. I loved giving her manicures because she was always so happy and would show them off for the entire week. She would proudly tell me she was Helen MAUDE Harloff! As her Alzheimers progressed, I would make sure to do her nails and sing to her. She was a very special lady and one that will be missed dearly. Your family was always so kind and took great care of Helen. May she rest peacefully.

Hello everyone. Such a wonderful picture of Helen the way we all want to remember her. So many memories of the many good moments we remember with Helen. I told Kathy about taking her to Walmart sometime after she stopped working there. Employees heard she was in the store and they came from everywhere to see her. She always said she would live a long life...100 and she did it. I do hope that after covid a memorial will be possible. Our thoughts are with you. John and Michael

Sending our condolences to all her family. Helen was the most interesting lady in her life. She had a big heart of gold. She loved her family and friends and was such a Classy Lady. I had also looked after her in later years and she was a sweetheart and sitting with her going through her albums to remind her of all her worldly travels was a joy . May you Rest In Peace and you will be missed.

Dear Jane and Family, I have so many wonderful memories of Helen from growing up and working at the Y. Your mom was a strong, independent woman who had a smile and a kind word for everyone. She also had a great sense of humour! I will cherish my memories of her. My sympathies to you on the passing of this special lady.

Helen was a good friend of my Mother in Law- Din MacDonald. Helen's outgoing personality and love of life made her unforgettable. Any conversations always incouded an update of her family. My husband Rod ( Whitey) knew Helen all his life. He told me great stories that included Helen and your Dad. Hope that Helen went out decked in her jewels! Deepest sympathy.

We are so sorry to hear that Helen has passed. My deepest condolences to those closest to Helen. She was my great aunt on my dads side (Paul Robertson) . I always enjoyed the family time we got to spend with Helen and the Robertson clan. We were always delighted to be in her presence. We could always count on Helen to light up a room and make people smile. Helen will forever be missed. With love and fond memories, Danielle and Carole

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I knew her well, and she and I travelled to the Grand Canyon and to Spain together. She was a free spirit and a great companion; the first thing she did on every trip was buy gifts for her family. I met some of you at her 80(?) birthday party and for sure Marianne and her son several times. The world is not as bright a place without Helen. Anne
