Obituary of John "David" Aitken

Peacefully, at home on Sunday, September 20, 2020, John David Aitken passed away at the age of 95. Beloved husband of Ramona Aitken (née McGill).Loving father of Janice Sinclair and Kathryn (Paul) Spring. Dear grandfather of Sean (Michelle) Sinclair & Jonathan (Melissa) Sinclair. Great grandfather of Olivia and Carter. Forever in the hearts of his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his brother Douglas Aitken and sister in law Ruth Aitken. David served Canada in the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals of army's Active Force in the United Kingdom and northwest Europe from 1944 to 1946. Cremation has taken place. Private family graveside service and burial of ashes will take place in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario at a later date.
