Obituary of Millicent “Millie” Howard (Broughton)

Now at peace, after a lengthy illness, at Woodingford Lodge, Ingersoll, on Thursday, July 27, 2006. Millicent “Millie” Howard (Broughton), formerly of London, in her 91st year. Predeceased by husband Lloyd Broughton (1971). Loving mother of Brenda Broughton (Gus Velekardas) and Brian Broughton (Taylor Jackson). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jeffrey Broughton & Kelsey Jackson. Dear sister-in-law of Gwen Edginton. Predeceased by brothers John, George & Edward Edginton. Survived by her nieces & nephews. Special companion to her pet poodle ‘Rocco’. Millie was a longtime member of the Victory Branch Legion #317 where she was involved in volunteer work and social activities. A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation and interment of ashes at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to Woodingford Lodge, Millenium Fund. Logan Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
