Obituary of Michael Papakentris

Michael Papakentris passed away peacefully on July 1st, at his residence in Whitby, ON, in his 81st year. Husband of the late Maria, and loving father of Kathy, Anna, Popie, George, Louie, and Nick. A proud, yet humble man, Michael's life-long focus was his family. His 11 grandchildren are very proud of him. We will all miss you dearly, "Pappa". Visitation will be held at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Colborne)on Monday July 3, 2006 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Road on Tuesday at 11a.m. with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Prayers will be held at the funeral home Monday evening at 8 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated.
