At home peacefully on Saturday, May 19, 2007, Marigo Veremis of London in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late John Veremis. Dear mother Pete and his wife Kanela, Tom and his wife Irene, Matina and her husband Vasili, Ted and his wife Georgia all of Saginaw, Michigan. George and his wife Katina from Greece. John and Demetra Liabotis of London, Ontario. Son-in-law Jim Papst of Tuscon, Arizona. Predeceased by her daughter Sue Papst. Dear sister of Alexandra and her late husband Christo Demizas, sister of the late Costantine and his wife Demetra Gagiolis, sister of the late Demetra and her husband Christo Karalis all from Greece. Loved by 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.), London, on Monday, May 21, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 133 Southdale Road, London, on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Prayers will be held in the Funeral Home Monday at 8 p.m. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
