Obituary of Politimi Alikakos

Peacefully, at home with her loving & cherished family by her side on June 2, 2021, Popi Alikakos passed away in her 75th year. Loving wife of Nick for 57 years. Cherished mother & grandmother of Maria Teat & her son Jeffrey, Pam (George) Davakos & their children Christian & Tyler, and Steven (Mary) Alikakos & their children Nicholas & Elias. Beloved sister of Ilias (Panagiota) Stathakos. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Popi was an active and dedicated member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Community & the Philoptochos Ladies Society. Her dedicated & selfless ways were proof in her service to her customers as a seamstress and in the 26 years that Popi & Nick owned the London South Restaurant. Family was everything to Politimi and she dedicated her life to caring for and loving her family, friends & customers. Due to current restrictions a private service with immediate family will be held at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., London, on Saturday, June 5, 2021 with +Fr. Konstantine Chatzis officiating. Private interment in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario.
