Obituary of Jean Savignac (Adams)
Jean Savignac (Adams) born, Vankleek Hill, Ontario, formerly of Ottawa, Ontario, died at Marian Villa, London, Ontario on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the age of 96 with her daughter and son-in-law at her side. Predeceased by her husband Willard, who served in the First World War in the Royal Flying Corps; her parents, her brothers and sister, her stepson David and her step-grandson Paul. All her life Jean was a vibrant, compassionate person who reached out to others and cared deeply for family and friends. In recent years, because of natural causes, her quality of life deteriorated, but never her ability to enjoy the company of the family in London; her daughter Sue O’Driscoll and husband Percy; Sean O’Driscoll, Gaylyn Bacon and their children Griffin and Quinn; Leslie Fitzmaurice and Paul and their son Aidan. She is also remembered by the Ottawa family; Mary Savignac and her children and stepson Brock and his extensive family. A Eucharistic Celebration to honour her life will take place at St. Paul’s Cathedral, 472 Richmond Street, London on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 4:30 pm. Interment at Capital Memorial Gardens in Ottawa on May 16, 2007 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of London and Middlesex or St. Paul’s Cathedral Memorial Fund. Arrangements are entrusted to Logan Funeral Home (519) 433-6181.
