John was a kind and gentle man who was loved by all, who is now with his loving wife, Christina. At his residence on Monday, October 23, 2006 John Athanasakos of London in his 76th year. Beloved husband of the late Christina Athanasakos. Beloved father of Peter & his wife Giuliana Athanasakos and George Athanasakos all of London. Proud and loving Papou of Christina & Alexia. Dear brother of Mitsos & his wife Matula Athanasakos, George & his wife Noula Athanasakos, Irene & her husband Theofanis Liounis and Eleni & her husband Dinos Papadakis all of Australia, Leonidas & his late wife Argira Athanasakos, Stratis & his wife Patra Athanasakos of New York, Elli & her husband Vasili Perdikeas and Potitsa Maniatakos & her late husband Demitris all of Greece. Dear brother –in-law of Voula Athanasakos & her late husband Zois of Australia, Alexandra Makris & her husband Stavros and Nikolaos Kritikos & his late wife Maria of London, Elli Hrisikos & her late husband Peter of Greece, Irene Hrisikos & her late husband Nick and Eva Labrinos & her husband Stratos of London. Greatly missed by many nieces & nephews. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Road W. on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 1 pm with Father Elias Drossos officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Prayers will be held in the chapel Wednesday at 3:30 pm. Friends who wish may make memorial donations to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or Diabetes Association. Online condolences
