Obituary of Preston Parkes

Peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, June 13, 2006, Preston Parkes of Avon in his 61st year. Beloved husband of Margaret (Sambrooks) Parkes. Cherished Dad of Tony Parkes of Astorville and Obi to Georgian & Madelaine. Dear son of May Laycock and dear brother of Susan Paris both of Bourneville, England. Friends will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Saturday, June 17, 2006 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm only. No Funeral Service as per Preston's wishes. Cremation has taken place. Friends who wish may make memorial donations in lieu of flowers to the Children Genetic Diseases Program, c/o Children's Health Research Institute.
