Obituary of Mary Bobotsis
Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Hospice with family by her side, Mary Bobotsis passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, in her 88th year.
Loving wife of the late George Bobotsis. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her sons Gus Bobotsis (Evangelitsa), Chris Bobotsis (Tina) and her grandchildren George, Georgios and Lambros Bobotsis. Mary will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and her extended family and friends in Canada, Greece and beyond. Mary was a key part of the Highland Family Restaurant in Embro, ON which she and her family devoted countless hours to serving the community. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice for their support and compassion provided to Mary.
Funeral Service will be held at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Road West on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior (12 – 1 p.m.). Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation are asked to consider the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca
A tree will be planted by the staff of the Logan Funeral Home, as a living memorial to Mary Bobotsis.
