Obituary of Stephen Mattson

John Stephen Mattson, beloved son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle passed peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

Stephen was predeceased by his parents John and Elva, and his precious daughter Adrienne.

Stephen is survived by his much loved son Jeff, grandchildren Gracie and Gavin, sisters Roberta and Rise, niece Naomi and great niece and nephew Ella and Evan.

Steve will remain in our hearts for his humour and his passionate love of golf and the Detroit Tigers.

He is now resting peacefully in his own field of dreams.

At Steve’s request no funeral services will be held.

Cremation has taken place with a private family scattering of ashes in Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
