Very fond memories of a great man who lived just around the corner.. Pat was such a kind and gentle person. True blue fan to his NHL team even when they seldom made the playoffs. My heartfelt condolences to Wanda (my second mom growing up as a child), Brad ( whom we named our son after) and Brenda.

Brad and Family, I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Pat was such a special person having spent many a Friday night out at the London Gardens. It was always great to chat with him before Knights’ games. It always seemed that his calm persona, which at times was the opposite of the Knights’ head trainer, Don Brankley, had an influence on everyone around him. He was so very proud of everyone’s achievements whether it be on the Knights team or his family. Condolences and blessings to all.

My Uncle Pat was a man who exuded joy. There was never a time at family gatherings that he didn't give a hug and a laugh. Always so happy to see us. Having seven sisters gave my Dad ((Alex Western), the chance to have many brothers-in-law. I know Pat was one of the favoured ones! Dad loved being in his company and sure recognized the love he had for sister Wanda. Our heartfelt condolences and tightest virtual embraces go out to Aunt Wanda, cousins Brad and Brenda, and to all of your family. Love Warren and Carolynn
