Obituary of Gwendolyn Leone Richman

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Gwendolyn Leone Richman (nee Silverthorn), on April 7, 2025. 

She was predeceased by her loving husband Ken in 2007.  Gwen was the devoted mother of Chris (the late Jo-Anne), and stepmother to Barry (Barb), Connie (Norm), Bill (Rainey), and the late Ken Jr., Karen and Ted. Loving grandmother to 13 grand and 13 great-grandchildren. 

Gwen graduated from nursing school in 1956.  She enjoyed a 44-year career in various departments, completing with 28 years in the London Regional Cancer Clinic.  Gwen was a long-time member of Knox Presbyterian Church in St. Thomas.  Everywhere Gwen went, her knitting and crochet bag was never far away.  She was always busy making something with love. 

Friends and family will be received at the Logan Funeral Home on Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 2-4 pm.  Funeral Service will be held in the Logan Chapel on Monday, April 14, at 11 am.  Visitation 1 hour prior.  Interment Oxford Memorial Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the Verspeeten Family Cancer Clinic.
