Obituary of Stratos Klemos

After a brief battle and surrounded by the love of his family, Stratos Klemos passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 72. 

He will be deeply missed by his wife Georgina, of nearly 49 years, his beloved daughters Connie Klemos (Constantine Hondrocostas) and Paula Klemos (Angelos Coursioumis), and by his best friend and grand-dog, Boullie. 

Stratos leaves behind his 2 brothers and 4 sisters in Greece and the U.S, as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews. 

Stratos was an incredible Chef, passionate Gardener, talented Plumber, and all-around Handyman. 

His family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone at the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre and nurses from St. Elizabeth and VON, all for their exceptional care. 

Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131Southdale Rd. W, on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 11 am, with visitation 1 hour prior.  Interment Woodland Cemetery.  Those who wish to make a memorial donation in Stratos name are asked to consider Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or the Verspeeten Family Cancer Cantre.
