Obituary of Donna Smith (née Burtwistle)

Peacefully, at LHSC, Victoria Hospital on Sunday, April 20, 2025, Donna Smith passed away at the age of 81.

Beloved wife of over 60 years to Ralph Smith. Loving mother of Shelly Smith, Wanda (Ron) Talbot, Jason (Deanna) Smith and Robert Smith. Cherished grandmother of Dustin (Cristin) LeBlanc, Bailey Smith, Angie (Adam) Magoffin, Ashley (Patryk) Skalski, Adam (Amy) Talbot, Alex Talbot, Travis Smith, Tyler Smith and Rayden McGrady. Greatly missed by 10 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ted (Janet) Burtwistle and the late Al (the late Madeline) Burtwistle. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Donna will fondly be remembered for her kind heart and loving nature.

Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 12-2 p.m.

Funeral service will follow in the Evans Chapel at 2:00 p.m.

Cremation to follow.

Interment of ashes will take place at a later date.

Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation in memory of Donna.
