Obituary of William "Brian" Bell
Surrounded by his loving family, at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital, Brian Bell passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 68.
Brian was the beloved brother of Linda (late Martin) Shapiro and the cherished uncle of Jennie Shapiro, of London. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Marjorie Bell. Brian will be dearly missed by extended family, colleagues and friends.
For 29 years, Brian was a dedicated and esteemed librarian at the Richmond Hill Public Library. The last 15 years of his career, he was Manager at its Richvale Library branch. Special thanks to the compassionate health care team at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital and to the caring members of the Trillium Gift of Life Network.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 24, from 12 to 3 p.m., with sharing of memories at 1:30 p.m. at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Colborne Street), London. A private family service and burial will take place at a later date at Gillies Cemetery, West Lorne, Ontario.
In memory of Brian, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca.
A tree will be planted by the staff of the Logan Funeral Home, as a living memorial to William "Brian" Bell.
