Obituary of Murdie Joseph Brian Laframboise

February 25, 1960 ~ May 5, 2025

Peacefully, on May 5, 2025 at LHSC, University Hospital, Murdie Laframboise passed away at the age of 65.

Beloved husband of his loving wife Shania Laframboise.

Murdie was Shania’s world and she his.

Cherished father of Reuben Laframboise and Blake Dwyer who both loved their Dad very much. Devoted son of the late Murdie Laframboise Sr. & the late Doris Harvey. Loving brother to Mitchell (Denise) Laframboise, the late Ranald (the late Linda) Laframboise, the late Lawrence Laframboise, Kevin Laframboise (fiancé Erin), Brenda (Sonny) Collins, Barbara (the late Bill) McDonald, Mavis (the late Dave) Aston and Doris (Jim) Reid. Dear uncle to over 20 nieces and nephews. Greatly missed by Murdie & Shania’s fur babies Daisey (PUG) and Smokey & Willow (cats). Forever in the hearts of his extended family and friends.

Murdie will be fondly remembered by his colleagues at General Dynamics in London, Ontario and General Motors in Windsor, Ontario where he worked for 41 years combined. Murdie had a very close and caring community of friends where he lived who spoke highly and lovingly of him. He was a loveable and caring human being, always smiling. He had a love for life played guitar and kayak. He will be missed by many.

Cremation has taken place.
