Obituary of Jean Davies (née Crowshaw)

Peacefully, on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at LHSC, University Hospital, Jean Davies passed away at the age of 88.

Beloved wife of the late Arthur Davies. Loving mother of Elaine (Mike) Podebry and Ian Davies (Joyce). Cherished grandmother of Graham Arthur (Lauren), Kirsten, Lisa (Mike), Matt and Kaitlin. Proud great-grandmother of Lachlan, Hadley, Hudson and Evelyn. Deeply missed by her siblings Eileen (Alan) Kirven, Joyce Beardmore, Paul (Linda) Crowshaw along with her many other brothers & sisters. Forever in the hearts of her nephew Dale Beardmore (Gaynor), her extended family and many friends.

Jean loved knitting, puzzles and will be fondly remembered for never missing an episode of Coronation Street.

Cremation has taken place.

Visitation will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 10-11 a.m.

Memorial service will follow in the Logan Chapel at 11:00 a.m.

Interment of ashes will take place in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London, Ontario at a later date.
