Obituary of Cora Thompson

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, Cora Thompson of London in her 81^st year has gone home to be with the Lord. Wife of the late Lloyd Thompson (2017).  Beloved mother of Rick and Larry (Theresa). Loving nana of Laura (Paul). Dear sister of Helen and Elly (Andy). Predeceased by her parents Sadie and Dirk Olie and her twin sister Willy.

Cora’s family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at London Health Sciences Centre for their wonderful personal care and to Pastors Junior and Rose Sorzano and Geoff Holt.

 A funeral service will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior.

Interment to follow in Dorchester Union Cemetery.

Those wishing to make memorial donations in memory of Cora are asked to consider the World Evangelism Fund (Church of the Nazarene).
