Obituary of Donald James Smith
Suddenly, at his home on Sunday, October 19, 2025, Donald James Smith in his 50th year.
Loving son of Bill & the late Sandra (2014) Smith and brother of Heather & the late Joe (2008) Smith. Cherished uncle of Samantha, Stephanie & Kelly and great-uncle of Joey. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by grandparents Sylvester & Esther Smith, and George & Viola Baldwin.
Don was a longtime Toronto Maple Leafs & Toronto Blue Jays fan. Don encountered many health issues over the years and took each one head-on, always keeping a positive outlook while caring for his family and supporting his church, Hillcrest Salvation Army.
A Celebration of Life for Donald “Don” James Smith will be held at The Salvation Army Hillcrest Community Church, 310 Vesta Road, London, on Sunday, November 2nd at 10:30 am. Service for Interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2001 Dundas Street, London, on Monday, November 3rd at 2:00 pm (please meet at graveside).
Donations to the Salvation Army, Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
