Obituary of Margaret Rose MacLaren
Peacefully, following a brief battle, Margaret MacLaren passed away on October 24, 2025, at Parkwood Institute, at the age of 85.
She will be deeply missed by her children Anita (John) Wilson and B.J MacLaren. She was a wonderful grandma to Elizabeth (Josh), Liam, Kaidence and Nevaeh, and great-grandmother to Gabriel and Isabella. Also left to mourn are her sister Judy (Jim) McLarty, her lifelong best friend Marilyn Makarich, and a large extended family.
She was predeceased by her husband William, daughter in law Nicole, and her sisters Donna (the late John) Boender and Barb Wegman.
Margaret was a diehard Blue Jays and London Majors fan. Rumour has it, the Blue Jays won on Friday in her honour. She was very proud of her 30 plus year career at McCormick’s. She was a devoted member of both St. Alban and St. Jude’s parishes. Maragret has gone to her home now, and hopefully they have her soaps playing.
Friends and family will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St., on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 6-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at The Church of St. Jude, 1537 Adelaide St. N., on Wednesday, October 29, at 1 pm. Cremation to follow.
Those who wish to make a memorial donation in Margaret’s name are as to consider the London Regional Cancer Program or the Alzheimer’s Society. Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca
