It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Marge Lethbridge on October 27th in her 94th year.

She leaves behind her son Dan Lethbridge and daughters Heather Henderson (Jeff) and Cheryl Preszcator (Mike). Grandchildren David Henderson (Chelsey), Courtney Mungar (Kyle), Danielle Ward (Dave), Shayne Preszcator, William Moore-Lethbridge (Ellie) and Jeremiah Lethbridge. Great grandchildren Zachary, Tucker, Grant, Memphis, Harley, Addison and Olivia.

Predeceased by her husband Daniel Lethbridge, who sadly passed May 3rd, 2025 and was missed everyday. She was the last of 7 and the oldest of her siblings and could never understand why she was still alive. Predeceased by her parents David and Ada Canavan, brothers Doug Canavan and Ken Canavan and sisters Colleen Barry (Alex), Marilyn Dales (Gary), Marie Washburn (Ted) and Gloria Gracie (Wayne).

The last of a legacy has left us, choosing to exit surrounded by family and love. Mom was strong as they came, leaving home at 15 years old to work in Halifax and live with an aunt. She met dad hitchhiking while he was on leave from his Navy posting in Halifax. The story moved to London, Ontario where she lived and raised her family. She travelled with dad to many northern locations to visit Danny who worked for the Northern Stores, spending a month each time. She loved these trips and saw a lot of remote Canada.

She always wanted to know what the grandkids and great grandkids were up to and enjoyed pictures and stories about their daily lives. She would kiss the phone when shown a picture of the kids. So sweet.

Mom will be missed, but she is no longer in pain so we take comfort in knowing that her struggle is over. We have great memories that we will continue to share as a family and the stories will just get better as we go.

Many thanks to Dr. Neisner, who mom adored and Pharmasave at Huron and Highbury for all their patience and help over the years, especially Dan who was mom’s go to for prescriptions. A special thank you to Dr. Keller for her compassion at the end.

In keeping with mom’s wishes, cremation has already taken place and the family will celebrate her life privately per her wishes.

Those who wish, may make memorial donations to a charity of choice in memory of Marge

Arrangements entrusted to Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario (519-451-9350).
