Obituary of Bruce Elliot

Suddenly, at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll on Thursday, December 11, 2025, Bruce Elliot of Dorchester in his 86^th year. 

Husband of the late Ellen (2022). 

Beloved Father of Brian (Karen) Elliot and Brenda (Tom) Smith.  Loving Grandpa of Kelsey (Andrew), Jonathan (Emily), Haili (Mathieu), Justine and Megan, and Great Grandpa of Patrick.  Dear Brother of Matthew (Connie) Elliot and June (Francis) Schmidt. 

Everything Bruce did revolved around family and cars, and he wasn’t happy unless there was something to fix.  He also loved camping, the Maple Leafs and Blue Jays.  He was a kind and gentle man. 

Celebration of Bruce’s life will be held at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St., on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 11 am., with visitation held one hour prior.  Inurnment at Dorchester Union Cemetery and reception to follow. 

Those who wish to make a memorial donation in Bruce’s name are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or VON.
