Obituary of Richard "Rick" Franklin Mepsted

Peacefully, on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Parkwood Institute, London, Richard “Rick” Mepsted passed away at the age of 58.

Father of Christopher Ireland and Cory Ireland. Son of the late Linda Mepsted (2017) and Melvin Mepsted. Brother of William (Judy) Mepsted. Uncle of Kevin (Jenny) and great-uncle to Josiah, Hannah, and Jonah. Nephew of Keith (Judy) Hooper. Greatly missed by Leah Theilade. Forever in the hearts of his extended family and friends.

Cremation has taken place.

A graveside service and burial of ashes will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2001 Dundas Street, London, Ontario on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Mission Services of London in memory of Rick.
