I was just contacted by Pattie letting me know about Marilyn. I have been her neighbor for over 10 years and I am so grateful to have had such an amazing neighbor but even better, a women that taught me to never give up and always put one foot in front of the other. As I write this, I remember all the xmas treats she would send over every year we lived beside each other, from her cookies to her jams and salsa. Even when her sight went, I still got my yearly treats. I will always remember her and what she stood for. No matter what, remember your neighbor, be there for them and be kind.
My thoughts and prayers are going to the family especially the ones I got to know threw the years watching over Marilyn incase she ever needed anything. Good People are hard to come by and we just lost one, I know her beliefs and teaching will live on in her family.
