Dear Gus, Jim, and Georgina,
On behalf of the Executive and Members of the St. Thomas Numismatic Association, please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your father, Bill.
Bill was a valued and long-standing member of our Association, and his presence meant a great deal to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He generously shared his knowledge, his time, and his genuine love for numismatics, and he did so with kindness, good humour, and a true sense of fellowship. His contributions left a lasting impression on our club and on all who shared in his passion.
We will remember Bill not only for his dedication to the hobby, but also for the warmth and friendship he extended so naturally to others. He will be deeply missed.
Please know that our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. May you find comfort in the many memories you shared and in knowing how highly regarded your father was by his friends and colleagues.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Nancy McKillop

My deepest condolences to your family. Bill was a very kind man who always smiled and had kind words for my son (who also left his condolences here.Matt King) each time we went into the restaurant. I am sure that he is leaving great memories with so many Londoners.
Bill will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.

I’m sorry for your loss. My name is Matt / Matthew I remember going in his restaurant downtown so many times; my family were good friends with another employee of the restaurant named Barb, who worked at your dad's place in the 80s. My name is Matthew—your dad always called me 'Matthews' with an 's' at the end of it. I was just a kid at the time, but my mother and I went in almost every day whenever we were downtown back then. I’ve always remembered your dad; literally every time I pass that location, I honestly think of going in and remember everyone who worked in the restaurant.
I always wanted chocolate milk when I went in. I remember the old milk dispenser machine he had in the restaurant on the counter; I always thought it looked kinda cool for some reason i think it was because of the big metal knobs you had to lift to dispense white or chocolate milk. Anyways, again, I’m very sorry for your loss. I definitely have a lot of memories of your dad from back then. Also, if I remember correctly, he had another restaurant in the mall at Highbury and Oxford for a while. I went in there and said hi to him a couple of times, reminding him of who I was as a kid, and he said he remembered me.

Over the time that we have had the pleasure of knowing Bill we have enjoyed the family times shared with him. We certainly enjoyed listening to Bill recount family stories of growing up and living in Greece and we marvelled at his coin expertise and the successes he had in his restaurant businesses. We will miss him very much.

Our hearts are so heavy as we hear of 'Uncle' Bill's passing. Such a great and friendly man. His smile would always light up the room. So many great memories from youth.
