Obituary of Mike Young

At Victoria Hospital on Monday, February 9, 2026, Michael Young of London, at the age of 81.

Beloved Husband of the late Jackie Young (2024), who he spent 65 wonderful years with. Loving father of Sharon Cassidy (Rob) and Richard Young. Cherished grampa of Tina and Amanda and great grampa of Joshua and Colby. Mike will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his beloved mother, Alma Young.

Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario (1 block east of Egerton), on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 11 am. – 1 pm.

A celebration of his life will follow in the Evans Chapel, at 1 pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make memorial donations are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Online condolences can be expressed at www.evansfh.ca
