A personal note from Donald:

I am broken-hearted.

29 years together only 1 day apart in all that time

I still didn't get to say good-bye

to tell Maurice how much I loved him.

Maurice was a tower of strength, personality, humour, character, smarts, loyalty and love

You are an angel now ...so beautiful as you were on earth.

Thanks for your love and kindness and especially for appreciating my and Melody's extraordinary, oh so original partner in life.

I told his parents all those years ago, you were the two angels who adopted this precious soul, then Melody, then me.

We are trying to imagine life without Maurice.

Thank god you left me your LillyBae. She, Melody, me and our Benjamin Buff - your 4 amigos miss you so.

A private celebration will take place later this year.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to an organization that helps displaced souls in our community, animal shelters or to New Frontiers Support Services, 100 – 557 Southdale Road East, London, Ontario N6E 1A2.
