You all must be so very proud of the amazing woman she was. I have always and will always feel forever blessed to have have been in her circle of work, advice and guidance on high heel shoes! Lol Gloria was the best taken way to soon…. May you all find peace in your broken hearts knowing she was so special to so many ….

Dear Joe and Family,
Stephen and I were so saddened to hear of Gloria’s sudden passing. I was a childhood friend of hers in Elementary and HighSchool in Montreal and reacquainted with her several years ago. We were actually texting each other about three weeks ago for both our Birthdays and Mother’s Day. Gloria was a kind, cheerful, intelligent and talented person, and it was a pleasure to be in her presence.
May the fond memories that you have of her sustain you during this most difficult time, and may her memory be a blessing to all those who knew and loved her. We will miss the wonderful times we had together whenever Gloria and Joe visited Montreal.

Dear Joe and other members of the Gilbert family, Dan and I were deeply saddened to learn of Gloria's recent death. I remember her as a brilliant, elegant, generous woman who gave a great deal to the people around her. We enjoyed her hospitality on several occasions. We are sad to think that the next time we come to London we won't be able to see her. We hope that you will find comfort in your memories of her. Fondly, Gail and Dan Golden

Dear Gilbert Family
My thoughts and prayers go out to you. Gloria holds a special place in my heart, with me being one of her 'special people' she treated in her clinic. She was the best Fizzio the world has known. She was kind, gentle and yet firm, always giving me cause for thought and reflection. As the years passed, we consulted each other on projects and podcasts.
I will never forget what you have taught me, Gloria.
May God wrap you in his loving arms, and know I will never forget the gifts you have given me.

Dear Dr. Gilbert and family,
On behalf of the research ethics team, we were deeply saddened to hear of Gloria’s passing.
I will always remember her thoughtfulness and generosity. Whether it was giving my daughter books to help her learn about important moments in history or taking me aside to offer advice on my love of heels, she had a way of connecting that was both kind and genuine. I still smile when I think of her showing me exercises to help avoid the back pain she was convinced those heels would eventually cause (she was not wrong).
I feel very fortunate to have known her. Gloria touched so many lives through her warmth, generosity, and genuine care for others. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
My heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones.

Dearest Joseph,Shira, and family,
It is with a heavy heart that my mother and II are extending our condolences. Gloria was one of a kind. She was ambitious, caring, loving, I could go on, however nothing was more important to her than her family. Even her extended family. She made an effort to keep in touch with everyone and always included us in her adventures. I will do my best to live up to her wishes.
Our hearts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.
Sending & prayers
