Obituary of Diana Gloria Gilbert (née Anchel)

Peacefully, on Monday, June 1, 2026 at LHSC, Victoria Hospital, Diana Gloria Gilbert (née Anchel) passed away at the age of 81.

Beloved wife of 61 years to Dr. Joseph Gilbert. Loving mother of Zvi (Rachel) Gilbert, Shira Gilbert (Stéphane Volet) and Aaron (Brenda) Gilbert. Cherished Bubbie of Brandon, Tiana, Alayna, Tani, Eve, Raffi and Benny. Forever in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Hy & Rose Anchel and brother Stanley Anchel.

Funeral service had taken place at Or Shalom Synagogue, 534 Huron Street, London, Ontario on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.

Or Shalom Synagogue had livestreamed the service via Zoom at the time of the ceremony.  

Interment in Or Shalom Cemetery, London, Ontario.

Logan-Evans Funeral Home had livestreamed the service at the cemetery.
