Obituary of Wilma Margaret Newcombe

Peacefully, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at LHSC, Victoria Hospital, Wilma Newcombe passed away at the age of 91.

Beloved wife of the late Alvin Newcombe (2005). Loving mother of Rita (Jeff) Day and proud grandmother of Autumn and Noël. Loving mother of deceased sons Tony and Eric Chambers. Cherished sister of and predeceased by Marie (Ted) Holloway, Rita (Pat) Doyle and Loretta (David) Zimmer. Loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. She lives on forever in the hearts of her extended family and friends.

Wilma enjoyed living her life which included walking, travelling and reading along with many other activities. She will be fondly remembered by all those who knew her.

Graveside service will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2001 Dundas Street, London, Ontario on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow.  

Those who wish may make memorial donations to the London Humane Society in memory of Wilma.
