Obituary of Sotirios "Sam" Bouyoukos

Peacefully, at LHSC, Victoria Hospital on Friday, July 31, 2026, Sotirios “Sam” Bouyoukos passed away at the age of 91.

Beloved husband of 53 years to Paraskevi Bouyoukos (née Katsileros). Loving father of Dimitra (Christopher) Thompson. Cherished son of the late Andreas & the late Paraskevi Bouyoukos. Dear brother of the late Vasiliki Bouyoukos, the late Panagioti (the late Evridiki) Bouyoukos, the late Maria (the late Diamantis) Gianakakis and Aristidis (the late Christina) Bouyoukos. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sam’s caregivers Levy, Georgette, May, Sonya and Michelle along with Bayshore and VON agencies for all their care and support.   

Sam was truly salt of the Earth and an all-round great guy. Sam will be fondly remembered for enjoying time with friends and family along with his kind and loving nature. 

Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., London, Ontario on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario.
