Obituary of Mary Jane Stone (née Goldenberg)
Mary Jane Stone of London, heart of her family and anchor of her home, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026 surrounded by love, embrace and song.
Beloved wife of Ian Stone z”l, cherished mother of Sari (Alon) Shatil, Mitchell Stone z”l and Marla (Steve) Stone. Adoring Grandmother of Levv, Mica, Jessie and Emma (GKB).Treasured sister of Morris "Skip" Goldenberg z”l, Susan (Jack) Goldberg, Debbie (Neil) Kapp, Paul (Jo-Anne) Goldenberg and Maxine Ordower z”l. Dear cousin to Jeffrey Donde. Special Aunt, Great Aunt and doting Dog Mom.
Mary Jane and her family are filled with gratitude for the exceptional care by “MJ’s Party People”.
Mary Jane’s life’s work was her family. She was the type of woman who cheered each success and encouraged through every challenge. She was her friends and family’s biggest fan, touching everyone’s life. A devoted matriarch, MJ instilled the love of tradition and creating joyful memories. The bond she shared with her husband Ian was an exceptional connection that outlives time. MJ’s radiant smile always lit up the room making you feel welcomed and loved.
Funeral service will take place at Or Shalom Synagogue, 534 Huron Street, London, Ontario on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 11:30 a.m.

Interment in Or Shalom Cemetery, London, Ontario
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation, are asked to consider the London Jewish Community Foundation for the Mitchell Stone Fund that benefits social services or the charity of your choice.
