Obituary of Nancy Louise Mulholland
Nancy Louise Mulholland (née Booth) died peacefully on September 2, 2026 at the age of 91 years. Born January 12, 1935 in Albany, NY, to Harry and Elizabeth Booth, she also lived with her three older half-siblings and grandmother, Katherine Antemann. As a teenager she began working alongside her mother in her family's jewelry business, H. W. Antemann Jewelers, where she not only learned jewelry making but also won an award for her designs at age 18. At age 22 she married Bill Mulholland, had nine children, and eventually settled in Ontario, Canada where the couple bred champion Hanoverian sport horses in retirement.
Nancy will be remembered for many varied interests and talents. She loved reading, decorating, gardening, needlework, and entertaining, and had an inimitable sense of style. She delighted in transforming every house into a beautiful home and entertained with flair, warmth, and generosity. Her truly superhuman skills were her memory and ability to remove any stain, which were often topics of family teasing. Nancy was well read, intelligent, a talented conversationalist, and had a great, offbeat sense of humour that belied her sometimes conservative sensibilities.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband, William David Mulholland Jr., and her granddaughter, Madison Amanda, and is lovingly remembered by her children: William David, Charles Douglass, James Andrew, John Alexander (Martine), Elizabeth Helen, Madeline Louise, Sarah Alexandra, Caroline Marie (Andrew), and Bruce Henry; her grandchildren, Matthew, Eric, Fiona, Samuel, Patrick, Véronique, Isabelle, Fionnabhair, William, and Andrew; and her great-grandson William.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to Operation Smile Canada in memory of Nancy.
Visitation will be held at Logan-Evans Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario, (519-433-6181) on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Funeral service will be held at Logan Chapel at 11:00 AM. Cremation to follow.
