Obituary of Zacharias Sakellis
It is with deep sorrow and endless love we announce the passing of Zacharias "Jack" Sakellis. Devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, who passed away peacefully in London, Ontario - September 18th, 2026.
His loss is unmeasurable to his family, friends, his businesses/colleagues and to anyone fortunate enough to have known him.
Zacharias is survived by his loving wife Anna, his children Kokona(Troy), Konstantinos(Voula), his grandchildren Zachary, Anna, Samuel, his brother Emmanuel(Anastasia), sister-in-law Georgia, brother-in-law John(Angela) sister-in-law Maria, sister-in-law Kaliopi(Thanassi) and a large extended family in both Canada, Greece, USA & Australia.
Zacharias quickly embraced the values that would shape his life; humility, craftsmanship, devotion and an unwavering work ethic. Working alongside with/for his parents, and/or with his siblings, cousins, he learned not just of industries but a way of living. His remarkable strength and determination enabled him to begin several businesses in the Food Hospitality Industry with integrity, vision and passion.
He was a rare soul - such resilience & tenacity, he often did "laps" around men half his age, while leaving many speechless in admiration. Widely respected as a businessman, he remained deeply grounded & humble, seeing himself as a family man first. How he loved a good home bbq around his dinner table sharing stories, food & laughter with his loved ones. Many of his happiest moments.
His impact on colleagues, friends, family and countless others is beyond measure. His legacy lives on in his businesses he built, the lives he touched and the laughter he brought everywhere he went - including his famous "one liners!"
Memory Eternal Zacharias Zack (Jack the Ribber) Sakellis.
