Obituary of Edmund “Ted” Wilbert Millen
Peacefully, with his family by his side, at Victoria Campus, LHSC, on Sunday February 19, 2006. Mr. Edmund “Ted” Wilbert Millen in his 71st year. Loved and devoted husband of Lois Marjorie Millen (Gray), for over 50 years. Dearly loved father of Colleen Melvin (Bruce), Barry Millen (Charlett) and Raymond Millen (Amie). Loved grandfather of several grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Brother of Archdeacon Peter (Anne) Millen. Predeceased by his mother Mrs. Muriel Millen (1998), sister and brother-in-law Laverne and John Rousseau (2005), one nephew and two nieces. Ted was a proud employee of Kellogg's for 36 years until his retirement in 1990 and at Highbury Ford for 8 years following his retirement. Ted was a proud and devoted member of Royal Canadian Legion Victory #317, Forest City Odd Fellows and Mayqueen Rebekah Lodges. Ted was also a 49 year member of the Kellogg Entertainment Committee. At Ted's request a Memorial Service will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton) on Wednesday February 22, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. (Visitation from 9:30 ? 11 am) with his brother Archdeacon Peter Millen, of Calgary, officiating. Interment of ashes at a later date in Grove Cemetery, London. Online condolences can be expressed at www.evansfh.ca .
