Obituary of John Richard Barlow

John Richard Barlow, Thursday, November 23, 2006 in his 68th year peacefully surrounded by his family went to be with the Lord at Parkwood Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Loving husband of Susan for 43 years. Loving father of Michael (Anita), Steve (& friend Tess) and Christopher (Liz). Loving grandfather of Mikayla, Joel, Emily and Alyssa. Survived by sister Lily & nephews Skip & David. Also survived by sister-in-law Maria, brother-in-law Lee, nephew Mark (Mary) and other nieces and nephew in the U.S. Predeceased by brother Charlie, sister Phyllis & husband Jim, brother-in-law Ed, nephew Paul and nephew Brian. John retired from Victoria Hospital in 1997 and later became a Wal-Mart greeter. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road (one block east of Egerton) Tuesday from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 11 am. Cremation and interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
