Obituary of Roy Calvin Koopman

Roy was born on February 21, 1926, in Kitchener, Ontario, and passed away peacefully in London, on October 1, 2022. He was predeceased by his wife Josephine in 1992. He is survived by Dan and Marjorie Lethbridge, Gary Koopman, many grandchildren and extended family members. Roy was predeceased by his brother Elmer Koopman (the late Betty), John Lethbridge (the late Jackie), Fred Lethbridge (the late Fran and the late Mary) and his parents Calvin & Adeline Koopman. Roy was a press operator at Krause Hinde for 45 years. He was an avid camper with the Thames Trolls, a member of Huff and Puff, an active trail bicycle rider up until the age of 85 when his failing eye sight forced him to slow down. Sadly this is where Roy’s trails end. A private family service was held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Arrangements entrusted to Evans Funeral Home, 519-451-9350.
